Teams of the school played the NRW school chess state finals of the Schachjugend NRW in Hamm, a team tournament in which each school stands as one side and is ranked as a team, on 28 March 2025 (Grundschule Mädchen, place 6; Grundschule, place 31) and on 27 March 2026 (Grundschule, place 18; Grundschule Mädchen, place 22). The school directory of the NRW ministry for schools lists the school at Ruhrallee 84-90, 44139 Dortmund.
