Teams of the school played the NRW school chess state finals of the Schachjugend NRW in Hamm, a team tournament in which each school stands as one side and is ranked as a team, on 28 March 2025 (Mädchen, place 6; WK III, place 26; WK II, place 28; WK IV, place 30) and on 27 March 2026 (WK IV, place 10; Mädchen, place 19; WK II, place 31). The school directory of the NRW ministry for schools lists the school at Synagogenstr. 1, 58452 Witten.
