Teams of the school played the NRW school chess state finals of the Schachjugend NRW in Hamm, a team tournament in which each school stands as one side and is ranked as a team, on 28 March 2025 (WK III, place 18; WK II, place 27; WK IV, place 33) and on 27 March 2026 (WK III, place 8; WK II, place 32; WK IV, place 49). The school directory of the NRW ministry for schools lists the school at Billy-Montigny-Platz 5, 59199 Bönen.
