Teams of the school played the NRW school chess state finals of the Schachjugend NRW in Hamm, a team tournament in which each school stands as one side and is ranked as a team, on 28 March 2025 (WK IV, place 4; WK II, place 20) and on 27 March 2026 (WK III, place 5; WK II, place 30). The school directory of the NRW ministry for schools lists the school at An den Buchen 36, 45470 Mülheim an der Ruhr. The result pages are the only chess trace; no page of the school about chess was opened, so the entry stays unconfirmed.
